Here is another stress reduction technique I have taught for years. You can do it in five minutes and the sense of relaxation you feel afterwards is indeed noticeable. It's called Progressive Muscle Relaxation. Here is an easy instruction sheet on how to perform it (see attached):
The techniques that I swear by lately are two very crucial ones to me . One of them is Breath focus where the awareness simply directs itself towards every breath , this allows for optimal concentratration and really aids in reducing stress. The second technique is reffered to as Body scan, this allows for us to notice sensations throughout or bodies and once we become aware we are able to properly recognize how we are feeling for instince, if we are stressed where is the stress held in our bodies ? to some it could be in their stomach, or others their shoulders, recognizing where we feel those stressors in our bodies can properly help us relax .
